Extended Day All Summer Enrichment (EDASE) Details

Students should have a light breakfast prior to arrival and can arrive as early as 8:30a. The 4MSR EDASE session runs 9 to 5p daily. Each morning students will work with a tenured Teacher. After morning enrichment, students will join the swim class already in session. Lunchtime: students are required to bring their lunch daily, Mondays through Thursdays. A pizza party (lunch) will be given every Friday. When packing your child’s lunch, with respect to food allergies, please no peanut butter or peanut products. After lunch, students will participate in an afternoon swim class before going home. On Wednesdays, deserving campers will take a field trip. Parents will have a schedule and will send in funds for the weekly excursions. EDASE will take 5 trips. Each day 4MSR will provide a snack for each student before dismissal. All students should be picked-up promptly between 5 and 530p. A $25 late fee will be assessed for campers picked up after 540p. Please be reminded that the main goal of the EDASE is for each individual camper to learn how to swim or become a more proficient swimmer. Students will be awarded American Red Cross/4MSR Certificates and 4MSR t-shirts on Friday, the very last day of their session.

Last, students do not have to attend consecutive weeks however minimally students must attend at least four weeks of the six weeks available. If a student attends three days in one week, it is considered/charged as a five-day week. If a student does not complete all of the weeks as initially signed-up and paid for, monies will be refunded based on the actual weeks attended. All extended day all summer fees/balances must be paid in full by the first day of the first week the student attends.

Extended Day Session Details:

The goal of the 4MSR One-Week Extended Day Class is to instruct students how to swim or improve the student’s swimming skills. This results in a swimmer with sound fundamental or advanced swimming skills apt for enjoying recreational swimming as well as a basic knowledge of water safety. To accomplish this, students will be instructed in the American Red Cross Water Safety Curriculum.
